Author(s): Robert Howard, R R Laxton, Cliff Litton

Dendrochronological analysis of samples from the roof of St Botolph's church resulted in the production of a felling date of AD 1357 for timbers from the chancel roof. No felling date was obtained for timbers from the nave. A site chronology spanning the period AD 1239-1357 was created.
