This paper presents a range of archaeobotanical research priorities, some of which relate to themes in 'Exploring Our Past' (English Heritage, 1991) and others that are primarily of archaeobotanical importance. Criteria that give archaeobotanical investigations high or low priorities are outlined in section II of the report.
