PETROLOGICAL EXAMINATION OF BRONZE AGE POTTERY FROM BREAN DOWN, SOMERSET.

Fabric analysis by thin sectioning of a group of Bronze Age pottery from Brean Down showed a number of groupings probably all made fairly locally to the find-site: Limonite, grog, quartz/ limestone, quartz, calcite and limestone.
