TREE-RING ANALYSIS OF OAK TIMBERS FROM THE SOUTH RANGE ROOF OF THE BLACKFRIARS PRIORY, GLOUCESTER, GLOUCESTERSHIRE

Analysis of thirteen samples from the south range roof of Gloucester Blackfriars resulted in the production of a felling date range for the timbers of AD1230-1269, and a tree-ring chronology for the period AD1076-1219. Some observations are also made about the timbers.
