ANALYSIS OF EARLY ANGLO-SAXON BROOCHES FROM CASTLEDYKE, BARTON ON HUMBER, SOUTH HUMBERSIDE

Author(s): C Mortimer

Eight cruciform brooches and a small long-brooch were analysed quantitively. Brasses and bronzes with low-zinc concentrations were shown to be unusually frequent and it is suggested that some regional patterning may be discernable, when the data is compared with information from a large dataset.
