St Fimbarrus Church, Fowey, Cornwall : Tree-Ring Analysis of Timbers

Analysis was undertaken on samples taken from the timbers from the nave/chancel roof in St Fimbarrus Church, resulting in the construction of a single site sequence. Site sequence FWYCSQ01 contains 10 samples and spans the period AD 1375–1511. Interpretation of the sapwood indicates felling of the timbers represented within the range AD 1526–51.
