Author(s): J Jones

A soil block from an early Bronze Age inhumation was freeze lifted. The laboratory excavation recovered a variety of copper alloy artefacts, some with mineral preserved remains. The metalwork and a ceramic vessel from the grave were investigated and conserved, and EDXRF and SEM analysis work were undertaken on the metal and mineralised material.l
