DENDROCHRONOLOGY OF THE FLAG FEN BASIN

The analysis of 661 horizontal and vertical samples from the Power Station and the Flag Fen platform resulted in the production of a dated chronology for the Flag Fen Basin spanning the period 1406-937 BC. Felling dates for timbers from both areas have been identified from the thirteenth to late tenth centuries BC.
