FISH REMAINS FROM EXCAVATION AT THETFORD, 1964-1966.

A group of 56 Late Saxon to medieval hand collected fishbones was dominated by bones of large marine fishes, mainly cod, Gadus morhua. Other fish present included haddock, ling, pike and flatfish.
