TREE-RING ANALYSIS OF TIMBERS FROM THE KEEP OF WALMER CASTLE, WALMER, KENT

Dendrochronological analysis of samples from nine oak timbers of the Keep of Walmer Castle, Walmer, Kent, resulted in the production of a single site chronology consisting of six samples. This site chronology was dated as spanning the period AD 1396 - 1523 and as giving a felling date in the range AD 1535 - 55.
