Bleathwood Manor Farm, near Tenbury Wells, Herefordshire

Author(s): Ian Tyers

A tree-ring dating programme was commissioned on timbers from Bleathwood Manor Farm. The results identified that some of the timbers were datable by tree-ring dating techniques, with the farmhouse using timbers felled during the late sixteenth century. This dating programme was commissioned on this Grade II* Building At Risk during reconstruction works following a serious fire, effectively informing the rebuilding and ensuring preservation by record of the damaged structure. This report archives the dendrochronological results.
