The Moated House of St Aylotts, Saffron Walden, Essex

In December 1994 to March 1995, the Royal Commission on the Historical Monuments of England carried out a detailed architectural survey of the house of St Aylotts; this was supported by an earthwork survey of the moat and associated features which surround the house which was undertaken in March 1995.
