Between April and September 2005 English Heritage undertook an archaeological investigation and analytical survey in order to enhance understanding of the physical remains of Halesowen Abbey and its environs. The abbey was included in the programme of pilot projects for the Heritage Protection Review and survey was designed as a component of this programme to inform management of the site and its wider landscape.
