Fishergate Postern Tower, Leadmill Lane, York: Tree-Ring Analysis of Timbers

Analysis of material from the present roof structure of Fishergate Postern Tower, York, has resulted in the production of three site chronologies, comprising eight of the 12 samples measured. These site chronologies have overall lengths of 95, 88, and 61 rings, respectively. None of these site chronologies, or any of the remaining ungrouped samples, can be dated.
