18,19 and 19A Lewes Road, Uckfield, East Sussex
This industrial building was built in 1819. It now consists of two cottages and a light industrial workshop. It has a tile hung first floor, typical of this region and a sloping tiled roof. A trade directory of 1828 states that 'the trade of Uckfield is of quite a local nature, with no manufactory whatever'
