Nos. 57-65 the Broadway were built in the early 17th century as one house, possibly as an inn. They are a timber framed building that is plastered on the outside. Inside number 59 is an elaborate chimneypiece and panelling. The jettied upper storey facing the street is 98 feet long. It is unequalled in Middlesex and is one of the longest continuous jetties in the country.
