Canons Garth, Helmsley, North Yorkshire

An exterior view of Canons Garth from the south-east. This timber framed house was built in the late 14th century. The ground floor and hall is underbuilt in stone with close studded timber framing to all gables and first floor of wings and porch. It was altered in the 17th century and late 19th century. It was then restored in the 20th century.
