Former Almshouse, Romaldkirk, Durham

These almshouses were founded by William Hutchinson of Clement's Inn London in 1674. They were rebuilt in 1829 in a Tudor style in Hutchinson Terrace. The rear of No. 2 has a plaque (from the original almshouse) inscribed: W.H. 1674. The building has been converted into 3 houses.
