Former Village School, Gilston Lane, Gilston, Hertfordshire
This school was built in 1856. It was built as a Public Elementary School for 39 children. It was founded by William Hodgson as part of Gilston Park Estate. William made many improvements to the estate at this time. It was in use as a school for over 100 years, from 1856-1959.
