Market Place, North Walsham, Norfolk

Looking along Market Place with the octagonal Market Cross prominent in the centre, taken from the south-west. The market cross in North Warsham was originally built by Bishop Thirlby in the reign of Edward VI (1537-53). The first cross was destroyed by fire and rebuilt in its current form in 1602.
