Heritage Protection Commissions (HPC) funds projects in response to specific calls for proposals that directly address the priorities outlined in Historic England's Corporate Plan.

High Street Heritage Action Zones (HAZ) Cultural Programme National Grants Programme - Connect Commission 2020–2021

Historic England is looking for five creatives to undertake its inaugural Annual Commission as part of the High Street HAZ Cultural Programme. Each creative will be awarded £10,000 to make a new artwork inspired by connections between High Streets HAZs across England. The Connect Commissions will be undertaken in the spirit of storytelling and discovery, working with communities to creatively bring together distant High Street HAZs which share the same hopes and challenges.

Covid-19 Emergency Response Fund Resilience Grants

Resilience Grants are now available to support heritage organisations which are severely affected by the impact of Covid-19 (Coronavirus) and which require additional short-term emergency financial support. There are also grants to support projects and activities that respond to the current crisis and contribute to recovery in the heritage sector.

The closing date for applications has now passed.
