Built in the mid 19th century and completed in June 1863 Alderley Edge Methodist Church has remained at the heart of this rural community. The interior was redesigned in 1994/95 to better serve the community. In 2011/12 the tower spire and clock were rebuilt and the East Gable repaired.


Opening Arrangements

Every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday morning between 10am - 12.30pm except between Christmas and New Year. During August please ring before visiting. Other times please ring the Minister on 01625 583337 or Church Office on 01625 586713.


A34 N/S through Alderley Edge. Do not use the bypass. Chapel Road to the east of the A34 in centre of Alderley Edge, church clearly visible. Rail: London - Manchester West coast line (1/4 mile). Bus: From Macclesfield only, Aviva coaches from bus station.
