Grade I listed church in the Tower Hill conservation Area. Saxon and medieval building with brick tower of 1658. Suffered major bomb damage in WWII but retains standing fabric from the Anglo Saxon period. Remains of a Roman house in the crypt with a well preserved tile floor. Interior contains fine late 17th century font cover, sword rests and stair balustrade.


Opening Arrangements

All year: Monday - Friday 8am - 6pm (5pm in winter), Saturday and Sunday 10am - 5pm.


On Byward Street adjacent to the Tower of London. Underground: Tower Hill (2 minutes walk). Bus: routes 15, 42, 78, 100 and RV1 pass near to the church. Also River boat to Tower Pier.
