Grade I listed, with 12th century nave, chancel and south aisle. Later 19th century alterations and additions. Notable features include complete runs of 16th and 17th century pews, Saxon cross, squint or lepers window and ambulatory. Stained glass by Christopher Whall. Family and local history available on site with churchyard data.

From Kirkburton village centre travel towards Shelley. Church is next to the police station, situated in a well kept award winning churchyard.. Rail: Stocksmoor (2½ miles). Bus: Metro Nos 80, 81, 82, 83 and 83A.
