Grade I listed church. It is understood that a church has stood on this site for a thousand years. The south door is an example of Norman work with its decorations of zig zags, beak heads and grotesques. The porch was added during the 18th century, the outer door dates from 1721


Opening Arrangements

From 7 May to 25 September inclusive open on Saturdays 10.30 am - 4.30 pm and Sundays 11.00 am - 5.00 pm. The bell tower is kept locked as this allows access to the roof.


Church located at the T junction 2.5 miles north of Tadcaster. Rail: York railway station Bus: route 37 once a day Monday to Saturday
