All Saints, Church Lane

All Saints, Church Lane, Westbere, Kent CT2 0HA View on map

Mostly Medieval grade I listed church built of flint with chancel built of puddingstone. Some late Saxon stonework remains. The chancel has fine 14th century masonry especially the carved caryatid corbels, piscina and triple embattled sedilia. Notable stained glass.

Church open daily from Good Friday (14th April) to the middle of October between 10.00am to 5.00pm.

A28 from Canterbury. Church Lane connects the A28 Island Road with Westbere Lane (follow signs to Westbere village).Rail: Sturry (½ miles), Canterbury West (4 miles). Bus: Nos 8 and 9 from Canterbury stop close to Church Lane.
