Large and grandly conceived Georgian Gothic church. It is a monument to the success of the battle of Waterloo. Built 1821-26 to designs by Charles Barry, his first building.


Opening Arrangements

Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9.30am - 12noon. At other times by arrangement.


Junction 17 M60, A56 - Bury New Road towards Whitefield, to Whitefield Metro Station and supermarket, turn left into Church Lane. Rail: Whitefield Metro link (100 metres). Bus: GMPTE routes 95, 98 , 135, 149, 484 and 513.
