All Saints, Church Road, Sherbourne, Warwickshire CV35 8AN View on map

Victorian church built 1862 - 4 by a member of the Birmingham Industrialists Ryland family, Miss Louisa Ann Ryland for £20,000. Designed in Early English Decorated style by Sir George Gilbert Scott. Notable features include marble columns with carved capitals in nave by Farmer and Brindley, stained glass mostly by Clayton and Bell, Ryland tomb chest and a memorial to a member of the Dambusters raid Flt. Lt Henry Eric Maudslay D.F.C.


Opening Arrangements

All year: Sunday 10am - 11am and 12pm - 1pm (except 3rd Sunday of the month when the church is open 10am - 1pm); Wednesday 5:30pm - 6:30pm; Heritage Open Day 2016. Key holder details are displayed in the church porch.


Junction 15 M40, take A429 towards Stow. Village is signposted from M40 and church is at the end of Church Road. Rail: Warwick (2 miles). Bus No's 18 and 18A from Stratford upon Avon.
