All Saints, Church Street

All Saints, Church Street, Tibenham, Norfolk NR16 1QB View on map

Parish church, remarkable for the extent of surviving 11th century fabric. The plan comprises a nave, south aisle, south porch and an exceptionally tall west tower. The north wall of the nave is dated is datable to the 11th century because of its herringbone courses of flint, a feature which indicates that the north wall of the chancel may also be of that period, as it has identical facework.
