Medieval church in a small village on a hillside setting. Earliest parts date from 13th century. Under the chancel lies the vault of the Downing family, founders of Downing College Cambridge and builders of Downing Street London. Notable leaning walls and restored nave ceiling.


Opening Arrangements

Daily: 10 am until dusk, all year round.


Croydon lies 1 mile west of Arrington which is on the A1198. All Saints is at the east end of the village close to the war memorial. Rail: Royston(7 miles) Bus: Route 75 (Cambridge to Biggleswade).
