Grade I listed, built 1265 for the Knights Templar. Stained glass east window is a copy of Basilica doors in Florence. Other window dedicated to aircrews who flew from here for the Battle of Arnhem during WWII. Permanent exhibition recalling the life of composer Ralph Vaughan Williams who was born in the village.

Daily (on a rota of parishioners). Closed at night.


Off A419 Swindon to Cirencester road, 3 miles from Fairford. Rail: Kemble (4 miles), Swindon (12 miles). Bus: Nos 77, 349, 861, 865 (Lechlade to Cirencester), no service on Sundays.
