All Saints, Eyeworth

All Saints, Eyeworth, Bedford SG19 2HH View on map

Parish church dating to 14th century. Nave retains 14th century pointed door and three light window on north wall, arched 3-bay arcade to south aisle and chancel arch. The tower and clerestory were added in the 15th century, perhaps contemporary with the rebuilding of the chancel to accommodate the monuments of the Anderson family. The rood staircase is of the same period.
