All Saints, Kinsham

All Saints, Kinsham, Presteigne, Powys LD8 2HR View on map

Late 13th or early 14th century church, retaining medieval characteristics, restored 19th century. Simple design with continuous chancel and nave. Notable 2 piscinas c1300 and monument to Thomas Harley d.1738.


Opening Arrangements

Due to location of church within a private estate and an elderly landowner, the church is generally kept locked. The key is available from Kinsham Court which is adjacent to the church. Visits can always be arranged through the access contact.


Situated on Church Street (the main road heading out along the Mere towards Shrewsbury). Rail: Gabowen station (approx. 8 miles) Bus: 501 from Shrewsbury to Ellesmere
