Landmark church with 180 ft imposing spire, built 1852-4 by Joseph Clarke. Stained glass by Hardman and Kempe. East window dedicated to poet William Wordsworth whose father's grave is nearby, as is the grave of Astronomer Royal Fearon Fellows.
