All Saints, Newton Road

All Saints, Newton Road, Hainford, Norwich, Norfolk NR10 3BQ View on map

Parish church. Built in a cruciform shape using Norfolk red brick with black flint insert panels. Designed by John Brown of Norwich and completed in July 1840. Consecrated by Edward Stanley, Bishop of Norwich. Contains wall plaques and church furniture given in memory of Rear-Admiral John Pollard and his family.


Opening Arrangements

All year: Saturdays 2pm - 4pm; Churches Open Week (during August. Please contact church for details); 10 September (Sponsored Bike Ride).


6 miles north of Norwich, east of A140. Rail: Wroxham (5 miles), Norwich Thorpe (7 miles). Bus: Sanders Coaches route 43 and 44A (Norwich to Sheringham, not all stop in village - please check timetable) .
