All Saints, The Street

All Saints, The Street, Laxfield, Suffolk IP13 8DZ View on map

A large centrally positioned 14th century church, with a 15th century tower with a notable west face. Wide unsupported roof, wide aisle with stone memorials, 16th century seven sacrament font and interesting mix of pews. Recentley discovered medieval graffiti in the church porch.

Easily accessible from B1117, which runs through the village. Nearest Railway Station: Diss (18 miles) or Saxmundham (14 miles). There is a limited bus service from Diss.
