All Saints, Westbury

All Saints, Westbury, Wiltshire BA13 3BT View on map

Grade I listed church built c1460 and renewed and restored in 1847. Notable west window of elaborate perpendicular style by T M Wyatt. North chancel has commemorative plaques of the 18th and early 19th centuries. Church is set in enclosed churchyard containing 18th century altar tombs and, except for the tower, is hidden by surrounding trees.

On south side of A350, off the Market Place. Head into Westbury (from Trowbridge), turn left into Market Place. Or turn right into Market Place, if heading towards Trowbridge. Rail: Westbury, c1 mile. Bus: from Warminster, Frome and Trowbridge.
