Beaulieu Tide Mill, Beaulieu

Beaulieu Tide Mill, Beaulieu, Hampshire SO42 7YG View on map

Grade II listed building dating from the early or mid 16th century. Probably built as a successor to the mill used by the monks who lived just across the road at Beaulieu Abbey. Milling on the site began in the medieval period and the mill has remained unaltered since the cessation of milling activities in 1940. Roof and upper floor destroyed by a fire in 2006 and restoration was completed in 2014. Now in use by a yacht design company.
