Bolton Methodist Mission church. Built 1898-1900 by Bradshaw and Gass of Bolton. Red brick and terracotta with stone dressings and slate roofs. The Main Hall has seating for 1250 plus window seats for 50. In 1930s an extension to the hall was built and named Walker Memorial School. Later known as Walker Memorial Hall. The Main Hall as seen now was altered in the 1960s.


Opening Arrangements

Monday to Friday 9.30am - 4.30pm, Saturdays and evenings by prior arrangement.


Bolton Town Centre next to Market Place Shopping Centre and well signed. All major buses stop outside the Hall. Rail: Bolton,10 minute walk from station.
