Unitarian church built 1871 replacing an earlier chapel built in 1703. Designed by Thomas Worthington, commissioned and endowed by Richard Peacock, railway engineer. The only Unitarian church in the country with a peal of eight bells.


Opening Arrangements

Monthly: 1st Sunday 10am - 1pm; 2nd Sunday 12noon - 4pm; 3rd Sunday 4pm - 8pm; 1st Friday 7pm - 10pm; 3rd Wednesday 7pm - 10pm.


On A57 Manchester to Hyde. Rail: Belle Vue (1 mile) Bus: Stagecoach Nos 201, 203, 204 and 205 from Manchester.
