Gothic style church built by Thomas Trubshaw in 1829. This atmospheric church has a west gallery and retains box pews. The central panel of the East window shows Jesus with chalice and paten, and is a rare example of painting by William Collins.


Opening Arrangements

Saturdays and Sunday afternoons from 1st April to 30th October. Daylight hours - Saturdays, 10am - 5pm or dusk or earlier. Sundays from 12:45pm - 5pm.


3 miles east of Stone. Leave Stone on B5027 Uttoxeter Road, after 3 miles turn left at crossroads onto B5066 signposted Meir Heath. In the village, B5066 turns left, carry straight on. Church is 100 yards on the right on Cresswell Road. Rail: Stone (5 miles), Blythe Bridge (6 miles), Stafford (10 miles). Bus: D&G route 249 from Longton (infrequent and not Sundays or Bank Holidays).
