Christ Church, High Street, Walshaw, Bury, Greater Manchester BL8 3AG View on map

Begun in 1888 and completed in 1892, built in one phase in Victorian Gothic Revival style at a cost of £20,000. Several windows by William Pape of Leeds. Interior little altered since its completion.


Opening Arrangements

Sunday 10am - 11am and 12noon - 1pm; 1st April - 31st October: Wednesday 12.20pm - 4.30pm.


From Bury, Jubilee Way / A58 and B6213 to Walshaw Road. At war memorial turn left. Church on left. Rail: Bury tram station 1.9 miles. Bus: 510 from Bury interchange.
