Built in 1861 in the pseudo Romanesque style. 3.5 acre churchyard. Has a very prominent south west tower and four bay nave. Apsidal chancel with wall paintings and decorative roof beams, 5 stained glass windows in chancel by Wilmshurst London. Good stained glass in nave.


Opening Arrangements

10am - 4pm 2nd Tuesday of the month. Wednesday 10.30am - 2pm except January.


Situated on the Junction of the Buxton to Leek Road A53, top of St Johns Road. Rail: Buxton (2km). Bus: no. 58 between 6.40am - 6.10pm hourly. Only four buses on Sunday
