Christ Church was built in 1848 by Dickson and Breakspear for the Church Commissioners. Nave with clerestory, aisles and transepts; chancel flanked by side chapel and vestry. 4-bay nave and aisles, weathered buttresses and porch in bay 1. Gabled transepts. West bellcote. Cusped lancet windows and trefoil clerestory windows.
Monthly: last Thursday 5pm - 6.30pm; last Friday 9am - 11am; last Saturday 9.30am - 11.30am; 2nd Wednesday 2pm - 4.30pm; 4th Wednesday 7pm - 9pm; 2nd Saturday 10am - 12noon. Every Thursday 7pm - 8.30pm. 6th - 9th September 10am - 4pm. Every Friday 10am - 12.30pm.
