A finely detailed and virtually unaltered church built 1874-5 by prolific architect Richard Makilwaine Phipson, (1827-84), who was well-known for restorations and new buildings mainly in East Anglia. It is built of clunch with split flint facings, stone dressings and tracered windows and is very simple in design with no chancel.


Opening Arrangements

All year: 2nd, 4th and 5th Saturdays of the month 10am - 4pm. At other times by 24 hours notice.


Off A134, approximately 16 miles north of Thetford. Rail: Downham Market (9 miles), Brandon (9 miles). Bus: Daily services from Thetford and Kings Lynn, Friday service from Downham Market.
