Opening Arrangements

On February 12 2017 the Church of the Ascension was destroyed by fire; only the brickwork remains. Work to repair the damage has already begun and will take between two and three years.

Off A56 from Manchester, on the junction of Ascension Road and Clarence Street. (Area currently under re- development) Rail: Salford Central (3 miles), Bus: From Manchester Shudehill 92 or 93 to lower Broughton Road.
