Church of the Sacred Heart, Trott Street

Church of the Sacred Heart, Trott Street, Battersea, London SW11 3DS View on map

Built 1872 by F A Walters, Romanesque style church in red brick with stone sill and some stone dressings at the entrance. Slate roof, west tower and octagonal broach spire. The interior has a nave and aisles, arched clerestory windows and an apsidal chancel.


Opening Arrangements

Alternate Saturdays from 2 January to May, Bank Holidays, weekdays from 9am, Sundays 8.30am to 1pm. At other times by prior arrangement.


From north - A3220 Battersea Bridge, 1st right into Battersea Road, left into Battersea Square. From south - A3205 to Lombard Road, right into Battersea High Street, right into Trott Street. Rail: Clapham Junction (1 mile). Bus: No 170 (Clapham Junction - Battersea Square).
