Coventry Cathedral, Coventry

Coventry Cathedral, Coventry, West Midlands CV1 5AB

Ruins of the 14th century Gothic church of St Michael’s later designated as a Cathedral. Now a ruined shell after its bombing during WWII, it remains as an important landmark adjacent to the current 20th century Cathedral of St Michael’s.

Opening Arrangements

Both Cathedrals are usually open every day from 10am-4pm (the new Cathedral does not open until 12:30pm on a Sunday). However owing to events taking place in the buildings we do sometimes have to close one or other Cathedrals. We keep our website up-to-date with closures and advise anyone travelling from far away to check this before setting out.
