Crediton Congregational Church, 98 High Street

Crediton Congregational Church, 98 High Street, Crediton, Devon EX17 3LF View on map

Built in imposing Baroque style in 1865 mainly of sandstone under a slate roof. Frontage has pilasters, string courses and ornamental pediment. In 1890 a manse was built on the west side with a school room on the north. Interior is a rectangular preaching box with galleried seating on all sides.


Opening Arrangements

All year: Tuesdays and Wednesdays 10am-12:30pm. Closed during August, all bank holidays and from 18 December-11 January.


A377 from Exeter, pass through Crediton for approximately 1 mile. Church is in Crediton High Street opposite St Saviours Way. Rail: Crediton station (1 mile). Bus: Regular services from Exeter, Barnstaple and Bideford.
