900 year old former nunnery set in rolling parkland and gardens on the edge of Northampton Town Centre but within easy access of the M1 and other major road networks. Once featured on the Heritage at Risk Register, the Abbey has now been partially restored and includes a suite of newly conserved and re-presented fine rooms, a stable block exhibitions and interpretation space and a series of partially conserved rooms for visitors to walk round and enjoy. There is also the Orangery café and Billiard Room serving breakfast, lunches and afternoon teas, 7 days a week, a shop, a community learning space and facilities for weddings, events, meetings and functions.

Opening Arrangements

March - October Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays 10am - 5pm with last entry at 4.30pm. Until 1pm entrance is via guided tour only with free flow in the afternoon. November - March Friday, Saturday, Sundays and Mondays 11am - 4pm with last entry at 3.30pm.
